Bass Problems

For those notorious problems that we bass players have time and time again. Bass is obviously the greatest instrument out there, but arguably one of the most difficult to play, transport, etc. Bassists unite!

How?

It just melts SO easily. Even if it’s in the container, leaving it anywhere not room temperature for more than half an hour makes it melt. It also leaves the strings feeling overly chalky, I’ve found. I need to try out different rosins other than POPS (which I’ve been using since I first started playing). 

While searching through the bass tag, I find too much of: 

• shoes
• Chuck Bass
• fish
• dubstep stuff

Sometimes I really just hate POPS rosin. 

One of the truest things I have ever read. Playing such a huge instrument, it’s hard to envision yourself next to anything else.
